The objectives of the society are
Kilakkadu lamp society runs 7 full time shops , 4 part time shops and 1 mobile fair price shops for sale of PDS commodities.
KILAKKADU MOBILE FAIR PRICE SHOP
To increase profit fertilizers is sold to members.
The society runs processing unit where tamarind is being processed, value added ,and marketed profitably and sold through cooperatives. In the previous year, 0.88 MT of Tamarind was Processed and sold for Rs 0.22 Lakhs.
TAMARIND PROCESSING UNIT AT KILAKKADU LAMP
Lamp has been running a common service center and providing essential public services such as disbursement of application forms, certificates and making utility payments such as electricity bills, telephone bills etc.,
Minor forest products such as honey, kadukkai, tamarind, curry leaves are procured and sold through cooperatives.
In the previous year, 4.50 tonnes of kadukkai was sold for Rs.1 lakh.
Agricultural products from hills are procured from farmers and sold through cooperatives.
In the previous year, 50 tonnes of Maize was sold for Rs.11.38 lakhs
The Kilakkadu lamp society caters to the basic needs of tribal population by providing them employment opportunities, by meeting their financial requirements, by achieving economic growth, by providing basic facilities, by giving good price for agricultural produce, by providing warehousing facilities and by distribution of essential commodities.

The management of society vests with board of directors of the society elected by the members of the society as per the provisions of the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act 1983 and the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Rules 1988.
The objectives of the society are
Pachamalai lamp society runs 7 full time shops for sale of PDS commodities.
PACHAMALAI MOBILE FAIR PRICE SHOP
The Pachamalai lamp society caters to the basic needs of tribal population by providing them employment opportunities , by meeting their financial requirements, by achieving economic growth , by providing basic facilities, by giving good price for agricultural produce, by providing warehousing facilities and by distribution of essential commodities.
Arunuthumalai Large sized Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., with registered office address at puzuthikuttai Post - 636104, Vazhapady Taluk, Salem District. It was registered on 28.02.1978, and started functioning from 22.03.1978.
ARUNUTHUMALAI LAMP AT PULUTHIKUTTAI
The following 21 hilly villages comes under the operational area of Arunuthumalai Lamp Society.,1.Puluthikuttai, 2.Pungamaduvu, 3.Keerappatti, 4.Kankattia ala, 5.Chinnakuttimaduvu, 6.Periyakutimaduvu, 7.Chinnavelampatti, 8.Aalatipatti, 9.Sirumalai, 10.Arunuthumalai, 11.Pelappady, 12.Kolathukombai, 13.Vilampatti, 14.Aachankuttapatti, 15.Aachanguttapatti-Puthur, 16.Sengattur, 17.Adimalaiputhur, 18.Kathiripatti, 19.Santhumali, 20.Pallikkadu, 21.Vaaloothu.
At present , Arunuthumalai lamp Society has 7097 ‘A’ class members.

ARUNUTHUMALAI MOBILE FAIR PRICE SHOP
Lamp has been running a common service centre and providing essential public services such as disbursement of application forms, certificates and making utility payments such as electricity bills, telephone bills etc.,
Agricultural products such as varagu rice are procured and sold through cooperatives.
In the previous years, 10 tonnes of varagu rice was sold for Rs.6.96 lakh.
Agricultural products from hills are procured from farmers and sold through other members
In the previous year, tapioca was sold for Rs.1.14 lakhs

Nammiyampattu Hills Large Area Multi purpose Cooperative Society Ltd., with registered office address at Nammiyampattu vill& post -634 102, Jamunamarathur taluk, Tiruvannamalai district. It was registered on 03.02.1988, and started functioning from 3.02.1988.
NAMMIYAMPATTU LAMP AT NAMMIYAMPATTU
The following 16 hilly villages comes under the operational area of Nammiyampattu Lamp Society. 1.Nammiyampattu, 2.Kovilandoorr, 3.Saranakuppam, 4. Kilkanavour, 5.Kilnadanoor,6.Saranakuppam, 7.Irulamparrai, 8.Palampattu, 9. Nekkini, 10.Konoori, 11. Pinjamainthail, 12.Thoinkumalai, 13.Puthur, 14.Kattipattu, 15.Perriyapanaparrai, 16.Thoniur .
At present ,Nammiyampattu lamp Society has 5950 ‘A’ class members.

NAMMIYAMPATTU HILLS MOBILE FAIR PRICE SHOP
Approximately fertilizer sales worth Rs 7-10 lakhs are made by the society every year.
To raise the standard of life of tribal people ,lamp societies purchase the products from tribals and are processed . In order to add value to the products tamarind processing unit has been established and this is marketed profitably.
